OBJECTIVE:

Improve knowledge of surgical techniques related to osseointegrated implants, as well as practical prosthodontics, from diagnosis and planning, to maintenance.

One of our priorities at Calidental is correct management of soft tissue, as well as successful aesthetics and integration of implant-supported restorations.

Surgical techniques with regenerative, implant and aesthetic purpose are performed during Calidental visits. We also offer: Sinus elevation, bone grafts, connective tissue graft, guided bone regeneration, distraction osteogenesis, angled implants, immediate loading surgeries, sectional or full arch, bone expansion techniques, cortical split, etc.. Many of these treatments are carried out using ultrasound osteotomy, a field we consider ourselves experts in.

METHODOLOGY (face-to-face):

Each Clinical Visit is tailored and adapted to the profile and requests of each individual. Each surgery is intensive and takes place over two full days (Tuesday and Wednesday) during which, the previously planned surgery is carried out. Patients are consulted during the diagnostic phase while our team of specialists take notes, discuss implant placement and maintenance.

During your visit the following is carried out:

• Diagnosis and therapeutic options.
• Planning of implant-supported rehabilitation.
• Implant surgery.
• Advanced implant surgery.
• Immediate loading implants.
• Soft tissue management.
• Note taking and communication between the clinic and laboratory.
• Design, placement and implant-prosthesis adjustment.
• Cases of oral medicine and surgical pathology.
• Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of complications.

At the trainee’s request, a personalised theoretical seminar may be held, where clinical protocols, clinical cases, forms of treatment and scientific principles in regards to the topic chosen by the doctors are presented. In addition, the trainee can take advantage of the opportunity to consult their own clinical cases and concerns with Dr González.

After completing the course, a diploma accrediting specialised training in dental implants will be awarded.
